We have a 1st and 2nd grader at the school. We love the small school feel. The school is highly accredited and has a great caring staff. Teachers are wonderful and students are respectful and happy. We are thrilled.
Corpus is a very nurturing atmosphere for our two children. We love the sense of community and the faculty is excellent. We are blessed and happy we have such a great school in our neighborhood. Most kids that graduate seem to get into best high schools and colleges. Corpus kids are also the nicest and most well mannered kids I've ever seen!
I am a former teacher who had to leave CCS and subsequently taught at another school and believe me CCS is exceptional. I can personally say without a doubt that the staff cares about each child and they are all dedicated to the intellectual and emotional development of each student. The families are wonderful and I miss being part of such a fine school and church. I am puzzled that someone posted music and art are almost nonexistent since both subjects are taught at every grade level on a weekly basis not to mention the drama program that is offered after school. I feel very blessed to have taught and known such lovely students and families!
The facilities are not the problem at this school . The apathy of the parents towards academics is alarming. They like the bar low so don't try to raise it . It is a scary place.
