River Ridge Middle School

My son began attending RRMS as a 6th grader and now is a Jr at RRHS. There have been some horror stories about having to deal with the Guidence dept. Anything they tell you, check out for yourself. They appear to have their own agend. Overall the teachers have been wonderful. Florida has chosen to put the education of it's childen at the loosing end of the state budget. For what the teachers have to go through they are way underpaid - but - if a student shows interest and is a willing student, it is my experience that they are all for the kid.

i am a former student of river ridge, i attend there for 7 years(3 years in the middle school and 4 in the high school). it was a great school the teachers were all great and the faculty deffinittally did a great job at running the school. I was a member of the color guard and and of its events were great..i wouldnt change a thing about it if i could!

My children have attended and graduated from both middle and High. We came from a small Catholic school, so we were overwhelmed with the size. Pasco County has school choice, so I could have sent my children to any of the nearby schools, we chose RRMHS. And I have to say we chose right. Yes River Ridge does have some problems, what school doesn't? But they try! and they do a good job. I would recommend this school.

My Oldest child just graduated from River Ridge High school and my daughter is the 8th grade. My daughter attended Dayspring academy last year for 3 months and that proved to be a disaster. River Ridge is a much better school they don't yell, scream and belittle the children like they do at Dayspring Academy. Her FCAT scores were very good and overall I am pleased with what she is learning.
