Why not Lincoln A school were everyone is accepted black, white hispanic,.The teachers really really give there all in making sure that every child that past through the walls and gates of that school are touched, grounded and capable of face any endeavor and obstacle that they may face through every journey . So I say Lincoln the grand old school a high ranking school ,the best in the west .Lincoln.

The diverse student population offers a unique opportunity for children to learn in a multicultural setting. Since the student body is small no child slips through the many safety nets available at Lincoln Elementary School. There is a strong emphasis on the arts, a music teacher, a PE program, a great GATE program, and an extremely dedicated group of involved parents. Academic interventions are based on the needs of students and targeted at specific learning results. As prospective parents you are always welcomed to tour the school and talk to the principal about the school.

Great School! Because of it's location and diversity the children attending Lincoln learn so much about 'life' and problem solving. Wonderful parental involvement/support and an excellant staff have created a great environment for learning at Lincoln.

We love Lincoln School. We bought our home in this neigbhorhood to attend Lincoln. Compare Lincoln with other Ventura County schools with true socio-economic diversity (look at schools with similar % of kids with free/reduced lunch) and you will find that Lincoln is one of the highest scoring socio-economically diverse schools in the County. Most schools scoring higher are much less diverse socio-economically. Socio-economic status is one of the the highest predictor of success on these tests. So we figured that a school that could score well withot that stacked in their favor, must be doing something really special. And we were right. It was also important to us that our child be a part of a diverse community. What she learns because of the diversity is just as important as what shows up on the scores. We are very pleased with this little school.
