I think that Marlboro County High is a great school to go to. Only sometimes the students might get out of controll at sometime. But u have to realize that some students cant be like others.Because for one some students doesnt have as much focus as other students do. There might be a 60% chance that some students cant learn as fast as others can. So its best not for people to judge students just because they not as smart as others. They might be smart in 2 or 3 subjects. And they might be week in some subjects.
This school is terrible! The school is !00% about sports(mainly football). I would say less than 10 teachers actually seem qualified. I seriously think I would be able to teach students more than they do! I'm so worried about being accepted into a good university considering the fact that I come from one of the worst schools in the country! I moved here from GA and its like going from high school to pre-school. This school is horrible!!!
I think this school has alot of parential for our young generation.But this school like so many others can still offer more to our childrens education.And for those that want to go for an education and to begin in the workforce.
And also to add on to my other review, Marlboro County is quite advanced. Once I moved to Columbia I was slowed by their system. I think the reason why our scores are low her is because we are so advanced. Yes, I was an honor student here and I was so far ahead they had to move me to a higher grade and the work is still easier. I was proud to say that my school was more advanced than Spring Valley. Even though Spring Valley is palmetto's finest, the students are no where near as intelligent as our students from Marlboro County. Like I said before Marlboro County is a wonderful school just upgrade on the teachers and the scores should truly improve.
