My child attended Hambrick in 2nd and 3rd grade. Hambrick has a high achiever's component in each grade beginning in 3rd. We had a very good student/teacher ratio, I love the Hambrick television/anchor set-up for morning announcements and the teachers were very good. I was pleased with the school overall.

For a public school I was very impressed with Hambrick Elementary. Great Academically, Teachers are on top of things and very cooperative with parent involvement. I just wish they had more extra curricular activities or sports for the children

As we intend for our children to attend college in the future we made the choice to send our children to private school. Hambrick does have several excellent and dedicated teachers as well as those that make us question where they received their own education. My honest advice to parents is be involved! know your child's teacher. Closely examine notes home. If the teacher is not able to use correct written and spoken english this should be a red flag! don't leave your child's education up to the school. Provide exposure to this great world around us. Read to your children and turn off the tv. Be the example for your children in all facets of daily life.
