Great teachers. Administration could be better. Definitely need money for more textbooks and not for blackberrys! =)

this school needs to work on things that are important like making sure the students are passing, and helping them after school when they are struggling.

To begin with, Highland is a fantastic... for 'mainstream' people. The Honors and AP classes there are challenging, and the music program is great, although it will hold freshmen and students the teachers don't deem responsible back from their true potential. The coding teachers can teach you from not even knowing binary to knowing your way around C++. The counseling department really has no interest in actually helping people, and their first resort, regardless of what emotional or family problems you have, is 'Oh, I'm sorry your life is doing bad, now drop the class.' I say all of the aforementioned things from experience. Concerning LDS, it's not that big of a problem, although the fact that there is a LDS seminary that's essentially on-campus is annoying. The LDS kids at school will try to convert you for about a week, and then just give
