I am thrilled with Lake Norman Christian School. I extensively researched most area private and charter schools and in the end chose LKNC because it finished #1 in my mathematical evaluation of the schools (I ranked each school by a variety of categories) and it was #1 in terms of atmosphere -- it just 'felt' like a right fit for our family. I am so impressed with everything at this school, particularly because we are still so young (it just opened last Fall). The communication between teachers, administration and parents is beyond anything I imagined. The staff is so caring and loving towards the children, but still firm in their expectations of them. We have a wonderfully well-rounded curriculum with all of the special offerings of the big schools, but the focus of smaller class sizes. We have sport teams, a lunchroom, gymnasium, computer lab, library, etc. and we're still growing!!
The staff is wonderful. There are lots of smiles at this school. Small class sizes helps to give more individual attention.
My granddaughters attend Lake Norman Christian School and just love it! The faculty are all the best... it is a place of academic excellence as well as a loving and nurturing environment where each student is known and cared for.
