The school just finished construction and now has one of the best auditoriums around. As a student I can say that there is an extracurricular activity for every type of student. The guidance counselors are with you every step of the way with any problem you may have or anything you need to know about college, military, or just your future. The teachers are all very willing to take the time to help you after or before school. There is alwyas fun activities planned for us which allows all of us to be involved. Also we have a very good art program with more than enough supplies to go around to every art student, located in two large studios.

'LSM is a great school. The academic programs are good and they offer honors and ap classes in addition to 'college prep' courses. The music program is great and includes marching band, chorus, and jazz band as well as additional exclusive bands and choral groups. The art program is good as well offering classes in crafts and studio art. There are many extracurricular activities, something for everyone. The class sizes vary greatly (I have had a class with 11 kids in it right after a class with 30 kids) but teachers are always willing to give extra help.'

Not very impressed with the schools in Burlington. A lot of hype from local parents, but the kids in this district seem very unengaged academically. Plus, the list of colleges attended by LMHS grads (over the past several years) is sub-par to be honest. No ivy leagues, no Stanford, no Duke, no Northwestern... I just expected better.
