My son has attended Chapel Grove for 4 years.I have an older daughter who will be 23 and we moved here from Va when she was 7.She went to many different elementart schools and unfortunately did not attend Chapel Grove.The teachers here are excellent.Though there have been some concerns on education the family values that are taught here and the environment is outstanding! Not the usual,teasing and vulgarity that most schools have.It is the exception here.If you have family values and still believe in 'One nation under God' then this is the school.I love you Chapel Grove!
My children attended Chapel Grove throughout their elementary years. Their educational experience has been excellent with a dedicated teaching staff and administration. I have no hesitation recommending this school to other families.
Chapel Grove has declined from a School of Excellence to a lower rating within the county. Math books are not allowed to come home for my son's second grade class. While his Star assessment test shows fourth grade reading/comprehension and report card all 4s for this, they have allowed his math to decline along with many others. There needs to be balance of all academic subjects including math and not allowing students to work on these areas by bringing home their text books will hurt them and the school's rating and testing scores. I continue to see inconsistencies in many areas and hope that the principal can see this as well. I certainly do hope the best for these deserving children.
I love this Scool. My son has attended 2 other schools across the nation. This has been his favorite by far and mine too. It has challenged him to achieve higher goals and has showed me that the best school system in America is right here at home. I would never move out of this district all my children will go to Chapel Grove!
