Woodward is an awesome place to be a student. I have two kids in the school, with a third starting in the next year. My oldest will start at the intermediate school in the fall. I believe she's been well prepared for her transition. We are lucky to have such a great group of teachers. They all have an interest in each and every one of the students. They are always doing things to help them learn something that's hard, and also challenge them when they have mastered a topic. The staff is also very welcoming and supportive, along with a friendly, and involved parent group. Overall, there isn't a better public school to send your kids!

My daughter is in kindergarten and she loves going to school and her teacher is the best! She spends time with her students and cares about them, which is a definite plus. As for the extracurricular they have art, music, and PE and all of those teachers are wonderful! They also have a day for library. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better start with my daughter's education. I also think that the parents should get more involved, I believe that to be the only serious downfall.

I absolutely love this school. I have two children enrolled and have been impressed with the academics that my children have been learning, as well as the positive atmosphere provided by the staff. Both of my kids have grown leaps and bounds while attending Woodward. I personally volunteer at the school and always leave encouraged by what I see. Children of all abilities are challenged to reach their potential. The teachers work overtime to meet the expectations set by at the state & local governments level as well as to do all they can to help each child succeed. There are many challenges at Woodward for the teachers, and I am amazed at their ability to work with it's diverse population. It's been a wonderful place for my children to grow!

I love Woodward. We have two daughters that were attending Woodward. Our oldest daughter has moved on to intermediate school and was extremely well prepared for her school work this year. Thank you to the teachers from the elementary school. Woodward teachers are dedicated and encourage the kids to succeed. We still have a third grader at Woodward. She is having difficulty reading. The support at this school is amazing. I would wish for nothing better from this school. My daughter will get through this reading difficulty because these teachers are so dedicated and talented. Just ask any parent and you will hear similar things. (Woodward is the best kept secret in town!)
