It is a great school with great leadership. Dr. Kevin Harris is doing an awesome job to ensure a good environment for students to learn, excel, and be successful.

dunwoody highschool is probably the worst school i have attended thus far. The teachers i have had do not get involed with the students like they should. the dunwoody administrators are completley unorganized and unprepared for major situations. the school food is horrible. the school is way to small for that many students to be there and i wouldn't suggest transferring your kid here.

I attended a smaller, private, catholic school for two years of high school before transferring to Dunwoody. I have grown to absolutely love Dunwoody, its students, and teachers. While switching high schools is never easy, I without a doubt recommend switching if you or your child is unhappy in the private school that they attend (and DHS is your district school). I have found that the teachers are much more relaxed and willing to help. Overall the quality of education is not incredibly challenging in general classes but then again, this depends on the classes you take, as well as your own personal motivation. DHS isn't perfect, but I wouldn't trade my time spent here for anything.
