I have had nothing but cooperation and help from the admin and the teacher with my son who has several challenges. I have nothing but admiration for the staff at Sonora Elementary.
i love this school its the best school ever the teachers are great . and the prisipal is very very nice
I had 3 children in this school and found most of the teachers to be very good. There seem to be some staffing issues which can make it very difficult to stay actively involved with you child's schooling. In 6th grade particularly, I found that although there are some excellent and motivated teachers, there are others that seem to do what is needed to just 'get by'. On the plus side, they have an excellent after school program that offers classes for all ages in varying arts and languages. Overall, I'd grade them a 'B'
Sonora Elementary is celebrating its 150th year this year of excellence in education. I attended Sonora Elementary School and my children (1st grade and 3rd grade) are currently enrolled. I have found that Sonora Elementary is dedicated to children of all education levels. They receive an excellent education and love school. The school prides itself on working collaboratively with parents and is taking character education to a new level this year.
