i am a junior who jusr recentlty moved to pembroke high school in new york and in my opinion cumberland was a great school. I find that i miss it dearly and that it was tolerable and a very good school to go to. the classes, teachers, and administrators are great. The new building and changes are remarkable and i think itll look great when i visit back! Great job cumberland!

The elementary schools are fine. The middle school is tolerable. The high school is completely unacccountable and lacks the necessary management and direction that it needs to provide the students top-notch educations.

As a freshman moving into my sophomore year in less than a week, I can tell you that Cumberland High has already become my second home. Education, of course, is highly valued and the teachers I had this year were exceptional, always willing to help a student after their work hours. Parents, I believe, have no right to judge teachers in a negative fashion unless they've sat in the classroom with the teacher for at least one quarter. As long as you are fair and respect the teachers at our school, they will be fair and respect you back. Also, the after-school sports and arts programs are definitely something to take pride in. They are by no means a waste of money and keep kids occupied and safe beyond school hours. Most importantly, they make school fun. The current renovations taking place are great and us students are grateful for them.
