Send your child to this school if you have money and are willing to donate it otherwise dont expect them to reach thier potential without an uphill battle.

I think Cedarwood is an excellent school. We love the principal and the staff. The teachers are absolutely top notch. And whenever there is a concern, you can be sure that your opinion is heard and matters. My daughter is in 3rd grade and has attended since kindergarten. Every year I have been so pleased with each of her teachers and could not be happier. They really take the time to care about your child. Cedarwood is a family. They care about each child, parent, and family. They take pride in their children, the campus, and the quality of the school. I would highly recommend this school. It really is top notch.

I have four children who were all at Cedarwood this past year (one is just going to Clark Intermediate). We transfered to Cedarwood from a private school when we moved here 4 years ago. I cannot say enough great things about this school! The staff are wonderful, caring people. Most of the teachers have been there since the school opened, which says a lot about the leadership of the school. The amount of activities available to kids is unbelievable for an elementary school. We have never encountered any kind of problem with favortism due to income (we are a middle income family). Cedarwood is on the far east side of town so all the 'country' kids get bussed in to our school. I think there is a great mix of students from diverse backgrounds. We are blessed to be part of this great school!
Cedarwood is a good school, however some of the staff and teachers significantly cater to families with a higher income. It is noticeable throughout the school and as children get older it is a concept I do not want them to learn. The point of school is to educate the children and mold them into becoming respectable children and learning that no one is better than anyone.
