Bend Elementary School

Although Bend School has mixed grades in the classroom.My children all have their needs addressed individually. Resource specialist and even the superintendent will visit and work with the kids and meet with parents frequently. I have also been impressed with the dedication and involvement of the parents as well as the staff. They haveput together wonderful events like The Halloween Carnival and The Holiday Boutique which provided the children an opportunity to purchase gifts for their immediate family for next to nothing with complementary gift wrapping, homemade cookies and Christmas music. Bend Elementary also offers a afterschool program that helps kids with their homework as well as provide them with special activities and craft projects. They also have a special program that helps stuggling students strive towards higher acheivement by providing remedial after school help with small groups. I am also pleased that the teachers are commited to character building!
