There are some great teachers at this school; however some are in need of improvement. A few do not need to be teaching. The administration needs improvement in dealing with situations in a timely manner. The band and their directors deserve a pat on the back. Unfortunately this school puts most of its efforts on sports, especially football, which is common in 'small town' school districts. There are plenty of extracurricular activities; however some activities need adult structure and students need better motivation. Discipline needs to be consistent.

I'm very proud of the work and efforts I've seen this year. The advanced classes seem to be very challenging involving different types of media activities involving computer & internet for school work as well as reading material on a weekly basis involving current events to keep the kids in touch with what is going on in the world as we speak. The kids are being challenged to think on a higher level. Availability on extracurricular activities is not a problem. School unity sometime is within the staff of the athletic program. I think parent involvement is probably lacking on a consistent volunteer basis as is in many high schools due to the age of the kids and many not desiring parents around as much. So whatever can be done in that realm would always improve things. I'm proud of our school and where it is in 2005.
