My 2 children attend Gililland. They like the school, overall, and I do too. I do wish the classes were smaller so the kids could get more personal attention once in a while; but other than that, I believe it is an good fit for my son and daughter, who are both in 8th Grade. I commend the principal, as well, Mr. Horvath and his assistant, Vice Principal, for 'running a smooth ship.' Jane Ford; mom to Kenneth and Brigett Ford, Gililland Middle School, Tempe, AZ

This school has been great for my child. At first i was a little hesint to put my child in this school. But im glad i did. my child has learned so much by going here. their grades went to a d to B+. trust me if u have a child that is in middle school the right school is Gililland Middle School

Academic programs have suffered due to a horrible administration and infighting with some power hungry teachers. In 2006 Gililland will get a new principle and hopefully, a new direction. The academic areas of the school may then mimic the greatness the music and and art programs have always attained. Parent involvement continues to be low due to the transitory lifestyles the students must live.
