I am a former student of CL-B and I do agree that some things could be changed, but also I must stress that the academic programs are not as bad as some believe. The students get out what they put in. One of the many high points that Cass Lake has for going for itself is that the school is a very family based system. When I was in school only 3 years ago, the school seemed like a very large family. The individual attention that the students get at Cass Lake is amazing, and anyone can succeed from there if they want to. If anything could be changed, I'd like to see students held more accountable for their academic progress instead of getting an easy way out. You get what you want out of this school as with any other program you particapate in. The programs there are wonderful.

I really think that this school should emphasize math more than than the other subjects that they are doing so well in. Also, I know of many people that came out of this school and barely know how to spell all of the colors (i.e. purple, orange) and many of them in their twenties. That shows that this school really need improvement in not only math, but also the other essential subjects!
