Our school just completed a year long self study and was visited by an Accreditation Team from TCCED. Their report gave us commendations in all seven domains and excellence in areas including our positive community, leadership, academic program and student activities. Once again our spring test scores place our school in the top ten percent in the nation!

For the 2008 - 2009 school year we switched from St. Peter's to Public School. After having attended St. Peter's for 8 years, our child went into public school for the 6th grade. Were it not for many hours of extra tutoring our child would not have passed the TAKS test. Our child was consistently an AB honor student at St. Peter's and was not up to standard for passing the TAKS test. Which test, the national standardized testing or the TAKS is a more accurate assessment, I'm not sure. But what I do know is that if I'm paying for a private school education, my child should be able to pass a public school assessment. A 6th grader is a grader, no matter what type of school they attend. BUYER BEWARE

We switched from public to St. Peter's two years ago and have enjoyed every aspect. The teachers are very warm and communication with parents is high priority. The school provides numerous opportunities for parents to socialize, provided service, and participate in school activities. We love that the school is completely family oriented while maintaining high test scores and academic achievement. Have your child(ren) try it out for a day, they'll love it too!
