My daughter has been going to this school for 5 years and I can not say enough about this school. The academic level is above par of what you find in the schools in the area. Not to mention the Love and pure unadulterarted caring that the teachers exude for each child is wonderful.
My daughter attends this wonderful annointed school. Ms. Campbell in PK4 was her teacher last year and everyone in our lives constantly commented on her academic, spiritual and social growth. She is reading beautifully and has a good grasp on math concepts that are not usually introduced until the 1st grade. Her capacity for memorization was enhanced through scripture reciting and weekly spelling tests. When she was 3 years old she attended a well known school on the other side of town that is supposed to be 'the' school in Mt. Vernon. The education she received at Emmanuel far surpassed what she received the previous year and was almost 1/2 the price. Yes, the extracurricular activities could be better....a perfect place for more of the parental involvment that is encouraged....but academically there aren't many schools that can rival what Emmanuel offers.
Hats off to this educationtional establishment!!! My son has been here since Pre-K and the education he is receiving is beyond the New York educational standard for his grade level. He recently was interviewed and had to take a scholastic test for a summer program. He is currently in K-5 but, the test came back that he was at a 2nd-3rd grade level. The overseer of this school is very respectfully, knowledeable and approachable. The teachers truly care for the student body and challenge them. Discipline, respect and the Lords' word is foundational. J Taitt

This school is one of the best in Westchester County. I have no worries about the safety of my child. This school is truly the village that I need to help raise my child. The curriculum in this school is second to none. Should I feel the need to remove my child and place her in a public school she would have to be placed in 2 grades above where she was @ ECM. Parental involvement is great at the school. Placing your child here will be one of the best decisions that you will make in his or her life.
