The school is full of less than desireables. Therefore the grades are awful. My child had much better schooling in another state. I do not recommend this school!
There are aspects of Charles Arthur Middle School that I love. The principal and Dean are very good at what they do, anything that I have had questions or concerns the have been very helpful. All the teachers are qualified. However some are better than others. The main thing that I am concerned about is that there is not any transition among Elementary and middle school. For lack of better terms Charles Arthur Middle is Junior High School. I would like to see more teachers and also more communication among the teachers and parents in regards to homework and other concerns. The fact that the school is rural inhibits that funding and staff that is necessary to operate the school. I do like the school otherwise.
