There are some really good teachers, especially in the younger grades. However, the administration does a poor job at making it a school where you want to volunteer or help out. The principal is not a good leader, and she does not listen to parental concerns. If you have a problem with something, don't think that she will be part of the solution. I don't recommend this school--because of its administration.
This school used to be dirty.Now it has improved a little by adding a new building, but its still not the best school ever.

I am a proud parent of my child who is in 1st grade. The teachers are magnificent. The counselors/staff are absolutely are on target. The principal/asst. principals are always available, friendly and expect wonderful results. The school is always clean and well guarded by the securities. The learning environment for the regular classes, the learning disabled classes, amd the gifted have a wonderful and creative approach to learning. There is a wonderful afterschool program with friendly staff. The PTA has brought the school much spirit and has united the gap between teachers and parents.
