My daughter is beginnng her fourth year (4th grade) at Pine Grove School. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience. All of the staff is very supportive and involved. The PTO is very active and provides parent many opportunities to help teachers and fundraise. All of my daughter's teachers have shown creativity in making assignments engaging and challenging. Principal Gail Dailing-Hench has continued to meet the high standards that she and Mark Nolan set. Assistant Principal Debbie Grainsky has been a great addition.
The last of my three children has left Pine Grove to move on to the equally strong Avon Schools. Pine Grove is a very special environment for young children. Every school should possess the magic, fun, love, respect, and academic challenge that PGS offers. Moral virtues are stressed which is so refreshing in today's crazy world. Mark Nolan and Gail Dahling-Hench are wonderful administrators who base all of their decisions on what is most important for the child.
My son has been at Pine Grove for three years, and has had a wonderful teacher each year. Mr. Nolan is a warm, caring principal, who takes an active interest in every student.
