The teachers and staff there are great!! My grandson is in the First grade this year, all 3 of my children went there also. With one of my children I had great experience with their special Ed program. I cannot say enough about it.
I spent months researching schools and I decided on Mattie Washburn. For many reasons, too numerous to mention here, I am very happy with this school. I travel from a neighboring town to bring my daughter. I feel good every time I drop her off and she comes home happy and fulfilled, singing songs and telling me about her day. A good decision.
I Went To Mattie Washburn Back When It Was Grades K-2. I Loved It There! This Is The Best School In Windsor, And Any Child Would Be Lucky To Go There!
Being new to Windsor, we thought that it was odd that the schools were grouped by grades...what a wonderful concept! The children are all so well adjusted in their K-1 surroundings. The entire staff from the Principal to the yard duty crew have expressed great care and concern for early education and the smiles on our children's faces prove that! Our first grade teacher is fantastic. He knows how to hold the students attention in a highly academic, interesting and fun environment. The parental involvement has proved that children really do well when we are all involved! I'm so glad we made this decision to choose Mattie and to be a part of the Windsor community!
