For the most part, we feel very fortunate to live in the Waugh School District. The teachers and other staff are very committed to the children academically. Although, parent involvement is probably higher than average, there is clearly a strong clique of parents. The school's apparent failure to recognize and separate the clique of children themselves lends strength to the clique. The school would be better if it actively discouraged the cliques by separating these children and providing an opportunity for all children to branch out socially.

we are a military family and move from place to place often. Our three children have attended many schools across the nation and this is by far the best experience we have ever had. The staff is amazing...especially the principal!

If you child has a disability of any kind, this is not the school for you. All this school cares about is making the grade. If i had to do it all over again I'd enroll my child in another school where parents and staff are sincere.

Rarely, if at all, do you find an acedemic environment for young children that embodies a culture of care, respect, trust, learning, and dedicated staff, like the one you'll find at Meadow. Meadow parents must establish a 'hands on' and 'disciplined' approach, on a daily basis, to support their childs academic needs, due to the challenging curriculum and homework. The administration, teachers, and school board are innovative, bright, engauged and are committed to maintain standards that have propelled the school into the top 9% of the state.
