My daughter is going on her third year here as a seventh grader. It's a much better school than where we came from. I like the dedication from the teachers, the administration, including the principal/superintendent. My only wish, and this does not reflect the administration or the teachers, is that more parents are involved in the Ark which is the fundraising organization for the school. It seems to be the same group of parent volunteers year after year. But maybe that's par for the course. Overall, Salmon Creek is a solid school and will continue to improve.

This is a small school with very dedicated teachers, and a very active parent base. It is in a beautiful setting, and has an emphasis on environmental education. There is a great school garden, a nature trail, and an active creek observation and restoration program. I have happy with most aspects of this school for my three kids. The student body is not very ethnically diverse, but the kids are a wide range of backgrounds, both economically and culturally. A successful parent fund raising organization makes art, music, spanish instruction, and sports available to all.
