Rating's below are very dated. Pretty location. Distance is consideration. Campus bldg.'s, grounds need work, updating. What need's to be known to any parent considering transfer to Dunham is: Few experienced Teacher's. Quality of each varies. Many student Teacher's & parent's involved in all aspects of clsrm & student. Nice idea, but un-organized & inconsistent & impacts quality, prof. conduct & efficiency. Academic's instr. is below quality compared to same & larger schl.'s Teaching methods are out dated & remain unchallenged by parents. 3 Weeks of test cram prep for STAR! N Extra curricular, is un-reliable & inconsistent avail. Depends entirely on parent interest, & as result, quality varies. NOT appr. choice for intelligent kid's; GATE. Worse for kid's who need x-tra attention & terrible Sp. Ed. assist. Parent social cmnty. dominates enrollment. This outside dynamic, is exclusive & interferes with all qualities, all area's.

As a parent I have been discouraged in the past two-three years however, Ms Wilding has brought back leadership to the school which has been lacking. Her leadership has brought extra curricular activities as well as a re-focus on respect and community involvement. I have also seen great emphasis in continuing to improve the academics at Dunham.

Hi I'm a parent at Dunham School, and i have to say..the teachers are incredibly kind and amazing at teaching! Hope you enjoy dunham!

Duhmam is a public school that acts like a private school. With only 180 kids in the whole school every child knows every student and this is a huge plus. Respect, academics and high parent involvement make this a great school to send your child to.
