We have had mixed experiences--in fact, we have noted everything that other reviewers have, both good and bad. The good part: there are some really wonderful teachers and expectations are high. The bad: oppressive and financially punitive policies, lack of security (especially at the front desk, which is often left unattended), and inconsistency among the teachers, a few of whom are really inadequate. We left after 2 years.
I feel compelled to give feedback after reading some posts. Parents, we are lucky to get our kids into this school! My daughter stayed at Next Generation between 2-3.5 yo. We all love the school. Teacher quality is exceptionally high, maybe due to the fact Champaign is a college town. Two teachers that we love left after they graduated from UI program. Now that we moved to TX, it's really hard to find a school comparable to the quality of education and caring at Next Generation. We actually found only one, but the cost is double that NG costs. NG has a broad and extensive curriculum. Spanish, music, swimming and field trips, all offered at a pretty early age (only after we moved do we realize in many other places these are offered only by extra charge and/or after 4 year old). Discipline is great.

Next Generation Pk program is the best available in the champaign-area Emphasis is on child development at their own pace in a challenging environment with a lot of fun mixed in. Both of my girls (4 and 1.5) have been going there since they were 5 mo. old. They love it. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring, plenty of outside time is provided (weather permitting) and the academic opportunities are outstanding. ALL classes (including the smallest kids) get Spanish and music instruction. My 4 year old swims every day in summer (in premsis)
