Love the teachers there! They have to deal with a diverse group of kids and make sure all of them learn, that is hard!
Beresford is an excellent school. Great education. Teachers are outstanding as professionals and mentors for children as they are forming their characters.
Beresford is a wonderful, small learning community with teachers who care about their students, who know the curriculum, and teach to high standards for all.
Beresford is a wonderful, small (~250 students), ethnically diverse public school in northern CA. We have great teachers, a great principal, great students and a great community. We are all working hard together to make our school a place where all kids can excel; in the last 6-months we have added a new computer lab, a new math program, and an after-school enrichment program. 40% of our students are English Language Learners and 50.2% are socio-economically disadvantaged, yet we have been able to improve our test scores every year for the past 5 years. The cuts to California s education funding and the related cutbacks by our School District have had a severe impact on my kids' school. Even core staffing and school supplies have been cut back, yet we find ourselves in real need of a part-time Technology Teacher, aids in the classrooms, and funding for our art program.
