I feel my child's needs are greatly overlooked. He is an exceptionally intelligent 7th grader who has ADHD which is not being accommodated in the classroom. He is unmotivated and picked on. My daughter attended this school 13 years ago, and I see a huge decline in test scores, activities and involvement since then.

I am so disappointed with the STMS. I am not putting down the teachers, but the actual school I am. It has racial isses, no extracurricular activities, no parent involvement,no trust, no open counciling, nothing really. The worst part about all of this is , is that the kids do not have the option of another school.

At one time I attended this school and I feel as though the teaching was very good. As far as after school activies there are mainly just sports due to the districts low funding. Also the number of students who are A+ students seems to greatly out number the others. If in fact you attend STMS in the future I highly recommend having the wonderful History Teacher Mr. K Dant, there is no educational experience greater than the one he offers.

I am a student here at South Tahoe Middle School. I do not feel that this school does the job it should! There are no extra-curricular activities I can get involved with! The homework load is to much for all of us 8th graders to handle. Our teachers give us to much work at one time and give us none at another!
