Though there are faculty members of quality, the morale of the teachers is low - this is due to poor administration. There have been an exhorbitant number of transfers and resignations. Rather than gaining ground and building teamwork, this school features uncomfortable silence and dishonesty.
Incredible school. Excellent staff and outstanding administration. Principal, assistant principal, and dean are truly exceptional. I have one son in his third year and another just starting. I feel my children are receiving an excellent education here.
I have been very pleased with my son's first year at Ira Jones. He went in scared and unsure and has finished this year with a sense of pride and accomplishment. All his teachers have inspired him as well as his coach. I love the motto of the school 'Failure is not an option' and I love how the staff remind the kids and truly motivate them.
