Genesis High School

I was a student at Genesis High School, and this school and the teacher put in alot of time and work into helpin you graduate. i had to move so i do not attend this school anymore but if you live in the area you should take a look at this for you and your kids.

My daughter graduated from high school May 2008. Thanks to all at Genesis. Should would not have graduated if she did not go to Genesis. She finished early when Brastop High School was going to make her take extra courses and attend all year. She only needed two credits. She is off to college now. Thank you Mr Richardson for allowing my child in. You are wonderful.

I'm just researching schools in the district and came across this page. My daughter graduated from Genesis quite some time ago (6 years) so my input may be a bit outdated but I have talked with other people more recently about Genesis also. This is a great school! It provided my daughter with a safe, healthy environment when she couldn't attend the regular high school because of health concerns. The teachers, staff and administrators there were caring and professional and provided my daughter a good education in a setting where she could succeed. My daughter has gone on to graduate from college, and is finishing her masters degree this spring and applying to doctoral programs. Without the help of the people at Genesis, I don't know that she would even have graduated from high school. Thanks Genesis! Keep up the good work in this community. You're very needed here.

As a tax payer and a citizen interested in education, you mean to tell me there is no input by parents at Genesis High School? If not, why not?
