Though I do not favor the mix of Spanish and English language programs which is Pacheco's main purpose, I do think the teachers have worked skillfully to get the most from my grand daughters.

I love the bilingual program! The staff is great, from the teachers all the way to the principal (enthusiastic, not worn out like the over-worked, under-appreciated teachers I've seen at other schools!)! The scores are lower on state standardized tests at first because they lay a broader (stonger) foundation, then Pacheco students meet and exceed expectations in the higher grades.

My son has been at Pacheco Elementary for K- 4th grade. It is a Spanish Immersion school. My 4th grader can now speak and write in Spanish. It is amazing! The teachers are very dedicated as they have 1/2 of the time to teach the same amount of material. The educators and administration is top notch. I'm glad my son has this educational opportunity.

Pacheco is a wonderful dual immersion school (English/Spanish). The teachers my daughter had in Kindergarten and first grade where all wonderful, caring and passionate about teaching. If you are thinking about what school to place your Kinder or first grader- please consider this school. You will not regret it.
