Dixie Elementary is a GREAT school. Mrs. Ward really has it going on. And Mrs. Alderete is amazing.

This is my grandson's second year at Dixie. Class size ratio is good; having come from Northern California where normal class size is 34 to 1. His first teacher retired and thank God she did. I was not impressed with her overall skills. His second teacher was great. What a remarkable difference I saw in him. Physical education/exercise is very important. Children need the physical and mental stimulation. PTA appears to be 'Stepford Wives Club.' Limited information is sent home and functionality of the 'PTA' appears to be on a 'need to know' basis! What does the PTA really do to benefit the students and/or parents??????
