The principal, Ms. Williams is excellent. She and her staff are the most professional group of people. I am so glad my boys go to Grace Miller, we moved to Grace Miller district just for the shool.
My oldest has attended GM since KG, he's now in 4th grade and I now have another son in KG. I have no complaints about this school, my children are receiving the most education and attention they can get in a public school. My oldest son (VP of the SCO) has been in advanced grade classes and the Gifted program for years now and that has been the icing on the cake for this school to try their best to give him the most out of the box education they can to keep up with what his abilities are. The school and PTO have so many wonderful after school/evening events to help bring the community together. The school itself is a very modern and clean facility. Both my boys love attending school each and every!
I am a student at grace miller elementary and i really do injoy the cerricluim classes and love learning. Fied trips are edacational and fun!!!!
My daughter has been attending Grace Miller for over 3 years now. She seems to really love attending, but I think that has to do more with her friends than the school programs or academics. The teachers do their best with what they are given, but the county does not offer much financial support to schools even though they receive a lot money through property taxes. I think the best thing about the school is the principal. She made a bet with the students to kiss a pig if they achieved a certain amount of donated food for charity. Of course they achieved their goal and she kissed a pig on stage in front of the whole school.dedication. The only complaint that I have is with the Gifted/Talented(GT) program. My daughter received A's and B's all the time, but they decided she no longer qaulified for the program.
