Well if summer is challenging cos of hours of keeping late just to get home work done.I think its a sacrifice done not in vain but to regain later in College.Remember a stitch in time saves nine
After reading through the reviews I would like to say this: To the parents: If your child had a good experience at Sumner Academy it is probably because you are a supportive parent. One that realized that your child was not getting what they needed at the other schools. One that realized that test scores do help students get scholarships (millions of dollars of scholarships offered to Sumner Academy students this is not true of the other USD 500 school). On the other hand, if your child did not have a good experience at Sumner Academy it was probably because they were not prepared to be there in the first place, or maybe you are a parent who's child is an angel and can do no wrong and will always make excuses for them. Thanks

I graduated from Sumner recently and as my first year of college comes to an end, I can say I am so glad I went to Sumner. This first year was a breeze for me, but I always here other students at my university complaining about all the homework and stress. Sumner prepared me totally and now all of the homework and papers given in college are no challenge. It taught me how to manage my time. I also learned I need to be self-motivated and disciplined. Plus, I graduated full I.B so I came to college with a semester worth of credits under my belt! Thank you Sumner! Also, if you ever get pulled over for speeding or anything, cops just LOVE you once you say you went to Sumner.
