I do not really feel the school promotes a huge amount of parent involvement. The transformation from elementary to AMS was a trying time for me and my child. I found that the entire staff including teachers appeared surprised that I was even concerned or monitored my child's education progress. Several instanced where information was mis-communicated to me by staff members. I have contacted the school several requesting return calls to no avail. I promote my daughter's involvement in as many extracurricular activities that are available to her. The motivation from the staff over these programs do not seem to be encouraging to the students involved. I think that the principal should be held accountable this is because he in this case represents the leadership of the school as a whole. The staff is working under his direction and he should be aware of how things are going.
