My children have had the good fortune of meeting many wonderful, inspirational, involved teachers and coaches. People who've given so much of themselves to the school, the district and the community.

My daughter just graduated from there with honors and in the National Honor Society. You get out of this school (or any) exactly what you put into it. Judge Mathis attend school in Englewood and look where he is. There is nothing wrong with this school and I would recommend sending your child there.

if you show you care about eduaction this school is great i curently go to this school i am on the cheerleading team and run track. i have honor classes and i am graduating my jounior year

I graduated from BTHS in 2003, granted I had bad grades and didn't care about school, I enjoyed being at BTHS. There were lots of fights and apathy, but you get that at any school you go to. In my life I moved around a lot and attended differant schools every 4 years or so, and what I learned from Trail is acceptance and tolerance. Yes, there were some 'bad apples', but there were also some good kids and teachers. Before you decide not to send your child to this HS, take a tour of the school, talk to the teachers and deans. The photo teacher was wonderful. I enjoyed Yearbook and ceramics. English was great. My grades weren't that great because I didn't put forth the effort. I believe that is the main reason the test scores are low for the school. That would not be the teacher's fault.
