I've had kids at Grantsville High School for the last decade or so. It is an adequate public High that has some really good staff and programs and a mixture of a few under performers. Non-academics are quite good. I've been a little worried by math and science, but there are some bright spots there as well. It has good community support. My children have done well in education after graduating from Grantsville. There have been at least six principals since 1994 for a variety of reasons.

I am a 2004 Graduate of GHS, and I absolutly loved every minute of my experience there. Grantsville High is big enough to have several different oppertunities and options open to it's students and parents, but small enough that you don't fell lost in a crowd Most schools have 'cliques' or 'groups' or 'the popular kids', but GHS is not this way. Everyone is friendly and everyone knows your name (trying not to sound like the theme song from 'Cheers'). In conclusion, GHS is a great school for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where you can feel safe and happy.

While I'm not a parent, I graduated from GHS. In my opinion it was a fantastic school. It has an ideal learning environment. While no school is perfect, this one comes the closest I have ever seen.
