In spite of the extreme cuts in budget, Pine Grove children have no idea that anything has been taken away. The principal, teachers, and parents have pulled together to make sure that every child in the school has what he or she needs to succeed. Not just the material tools, but self-esteem and respect from the adults in charge. This is a school society based on caring, positive attitude, and reward.
Miss Pitt is great teacher,my grandchild has learned alot from her ; loves her class thank-you miss pitt!!!
The staff at Pine Grove work very hard to make sure every student has an opportunity to shine. Unfortunately, mandates handed down by the state and national government, are forcing teachers to leave plays, hands on science, and critical thinking activities off their daily 'to do' lists. Concerned parents ease the stress by providing volunteer time in the classroom as well as fundraising and inspirational lunches to show that we ALL contribute to the success of these students. This is such a Great school for unique students.
