I'm at the school alot, I'd say 2 - 3 times a week. Unless you are there hours a week, you have no idea how bad it is. I pulled my kid from this school and he will never go back If your child goes to this school, talk to them about what is going on and beleive them. It is as bad as they say it is. And yes I have talked to the superintendent and some changes are coming, but not until more kids tell the truth about what they see
I have to agree that the principal seems to over-react to many situations involving the students , But considering the epidemic of drugs and violence in schools now-a-days, I guess over reacting is preferrable to ignoring possible disciplinary problems. I have to agree that my children have not been challenged by any of the public schools they have attended in Fauquier County.
This school has no money whatsoever because they spend each and every dime on the teachers who dont even deserve what they get. Because of this, each grade just about has only 1 field trip!! And not to mention all this school is good for is writing referrals to students or sending them to ISD! And any form of discipline that they think they are doing doesnt help! That is why half of the kids cant learn anything because of the poor condition of the school and learning materials surrounding them.
