This school is one of the best in the state. We just recieved a new building, something that has been needed for years. Educationally, I'm surprise at how much is offered, there are so many course I wish I could take, but there is only so much time in the year. The after school programs are incredible, myself being a band and choir student. These teachers do so much for the students, they really are making sacrafices for the students, espcially with some of the administration there. The teachers even choose to send their own kids here, I can name at least 5 teachers who have kids here. This truely is a community.

LHS has been an exceptional school for my daughter. The building is ancient, the facilities old, but the quality of education is outstanding. The teachers have been attentive to my needs and concerns, my daughter has had help available at every step, the after-school programs are great (band, athletics, etc.). Parent involvement is high. On an additional note, the students for the 2008 -09 school year will be in a brand new building while the current facility is demolished and rebuilt.
