I've been a parent of a Western Hills Eagle for the last 4 school years. I had sons in K-5 and 3rd grade this year. Western Hills is by far one of the best schools. The level of commitment to excellence by both the principal and staff are outstanding. They have a wonderful gifted and talented program (ETC) and a great reward system to promote reading for all grade levels. They received a grant for the music department by VH1, and have a great basketball team. There's a great deal of parent involvement and the school shows their appreciation with events such as Dogs for Dudes, Bahamas Mama Day, and Grandparents Day. Unfortunately, we're moving out of state and my sons want to take Western Hills with us. Our next school has some pretty big shoes to fill because Western Hills has set some pretty high standards. We'll miss Western Hills!
