I attended Sweetwater High in the late 80's now I have a child that is attending. Unfortunately time has not fixed problems plagued by the small town school. Parent do not interact unless it involves football. Teachers since of discipline has slowly eroded over the years due to the upper supervision including the superintendent. The quality of course material is still good, not exceptional unless you are in the Honor courses. The school system needs improvements and it is just not coming do to the status quo! Yet, the same problems occur at larger school districts Sweetwater should be able to change and be the best do to the relatively small size.

My daughter graduated from this school in 2003 and let me just say that this school is all about football. That's great if you have sons or are interested in football, but they dont give great credit to the arts. I wished we had lived in a bigger city so that she could have excelled using her talents.
