What does that mean? 'Higher Educated Students'? This school is a K-5 building and has an outstanding reputation. If your child is 'Higher Educated', why are you concerned about the 'No Child Left Behind Act'? And what do you know about this act? Riddle Elementary School certainly is following the law as is the entire Mattoon School District. It sounds like you have some serious issues that go beyond Riddle School, and you might visit the school to see how happy, well-behaved, and well-educated the students are. The students are very proud to know they meet the high expectations that are placed on them. The standards are set high, and my children are very proud to be associated with this school.

This school is upsetting. They never have time for higher educated students. I can't belive they are not following the No Child Left Behind Act!

I have no problem with the academics of riddle, I do however disagree with some of the rules. The children have to set when they get to school in the morning instead of playing and releasing some of that energy they haven't had time to get rid of. They have to be very quiet in the lunch room and have to seat with their class and not kids from other classes. Then their is picking up the kids at the school, doors are locked and can't even stand in the school and wait minutes before class is dismissed. Overall I believe there are to many kids under one roof and not enough help. I have no complaints about Mrs. Goodwin excellent teacher

My son has been going to Riddle since it opened, and I have found the school to be very rewarding for my child. He loves the teachers, and gets along with everyone. If there is a problem, the teacher is always more than happy to work with the child and the parent. The staff is totally outstanding! Very friendly.
