Unity Junior High School

Unity Junior High School is one of the largest, newest state of the arts Jr. High in the Nation. We proudly educate about 3,000 students in 7th and 8th grade. We are located in Cicero, Illinois, and really are in a budget crunch concerning monies for after school activities and programs. We are bringing back our band program after a 6 year absence, but are needing funding. Unity is a wonderful place for our students - it is beautiful, clean, spacious, and has some of the most dedicated and loyal teachers in the world. Even though we don't have the budget to do all that we wish, we are so proud of the creative and generous hearts of our teachers who give their time, talent and money just to assist student programs. Hurray for Unity!!

I was a student at this school when it opened & I'm currently a high school junior in another town. The teachers there were extremely helpful, very involved, and their methods for teaching were spectacular. I still remember all the linking verbs that I memorized in 7th grade. My current teachers are extremely impressed that I know all of them. The teachers at Unity really care about your grades and if you have problems they listen with great care. I have incredibly good memories in that school that I'll treasure always.

this is a pretty cool school while you may not have the same friends in your class as in seventh grade there still are some good ones that you can stay in touch with there are a lot of clubs that you can join and if a teacher feels you should join one of those clubs he can recommend it and then you could be in that club or you could join on your own
