Harrison Elementary School

Our three boys attend and have attended Harrison Elementary, we and they have had no regrets for having them attend this school. Instead we would like to thank all of the excellent teachers that they have had over the years. These teachers are leaders in the entire district in developing and implementing solid educational programs to meet the various needs of their students. From helping create a Conflict Resolution Program that later went districtwide, to bringing a Direct Instruction, Reading Mastery reading program into the district to help the many students with reading difficulties, to having a 'Success After School' program which meets twice a week for those kids who need extra help, to having a 'Challenge' program that allowed higher order thinking students to think 'outside the box', to the neatest school-wide multi-aged small group social skills program that a few teachers created and have entitled, Friendly Fridays. Great School!
