Marshall is a great little school in the heart of the Mission - the community comes together across language lines to support our children becoming bilingual, bi-literate and ready for success in the world.

Marshall Elementary School is a diamond in the rough. The administration and faculty have created a warm, welcoming, positive learning environment for all kids and the community. The students are actively engaged and enthusiastic about the learning that occurs in their classrooms. It's worth a look if you are looking for an immersion program that goes above and beyond in many ways.

First and foremost Marshall E.S. has a year-round science focus, which makes it academically interesting and sound. Furthermore, teachers are focused on vocabulary building and reading comprehension through and through. There's a great deal of student exposure to music, sports, civic engagement, and fun extracurricular activities. The school benefits from a strong partnership with St. John's Tutoring Center, a local non-profit that works with 120 students year-round, summer included. There is also a strong cadre of volunteers present during the regular school day and after-school. This is great, dual immersion environment for children to grow and learn.
