AACN is a truly wonderful place. The teacher and the community of parents are outstanding, welcoming, and professional; and the downtown location is great. It's also very affordable and you really get to know the kids and parents through assisting in the classroom. Mrs. Archer has been a huge positive influence on both our kids' lives, and it's amazing the way she sets them up to succeed, have fun, and get along in elementary school without trying to get them to stop being preschoolers. AACN is a big, wonderful part of our lives.

My son went to Ann Arbor Co-op for two years, and now my daughter is there. We have been so happy with the fantastic Mrs. Archer, who manages to be calm, reassuring, and completely energetic at the same time. My children have thrived in the comforting, stimulating play-based classroom; as parents, we have found the connection and support of other parents that a co-op provides to be invaluable.

I have had my twin sons here for the last two years and could not have asked for a better start to their education. AACN offers an exemplary teacher, an outstanding play-based approach to learning, a supportive parenting community, and beautiful new facilities. Parents assist in the classroom roughly 10-12 times a semester, and the adult:child ratio is 1:4. AACN is centrally located near U-M Central Campus in First Baptist Church (but it is not religiously-affiliated); its facilities are spacious and sun-filled with learning stations that engage creativity, problem-solving, cooperation, and play.
