I think this is an excellent school. The teachers are extraordinarily caring and patient. Both of my sons have attended this preschool. My older son, left ELC reading and writing. Not certain, if his little brother will be as far along but he enjoys school and is starting to pick up reading and writing. I also think the lunch helper and director of the school are terrific with kids and keeping things on track.
My son is in his first year at ELC, and he absolutely loves it. The staff and teachers are so warm and caring, we've all been so happy with our choice to send him to ELC.
My oldest child who has Autism attended this school. He love it there and I found the staff to be very skilled in working with him. Another of my children who is 'typical' also attended and also had a very good experience and I will definately send my daughter there when she is old enough. The staff are very creative and skilled. I would highly recommend this school without reservation.
All three of my children attended ELC. It is a fantastic, traditional half day pre-school. It has been operating in Ann Arbor for over 30 years.
